Hello World! Yes, this is my first attempt to "blogging." I finally realized that I am overdue to join the blogging community. I secretly follow many of you bloggers out there and want to say thank you for sharing your stories and giving me the inspiration to go ahead and share my little piece of life ~ whether this is read by anyone or just me journaling my small corner of the world.
A little about me... my life revolves around the life of a six year old little girl. God has blessed me with a beautiful daughter who is full of energy and daily opens a new perspective on life. Everyone who knows me... knows that "a Natalie story" is on the surface of conversation. I think I relate to a lot of mothers... I am a divorced, career focused, single mom... currently making a living as a graphic designer working for a greeting card company. We've seen some ups and some downs; thankfully God has always been in the middle of all situations and I praise Him for His grace and glory He has shown us!
While creating this blog site, I just felt there was a need to capture the "essence of life" in one phrase, but as my hat changes from hour to hour, I found it difficult to land on one "title." Finally last night it hit me... where does the new day begin and then end? Lipstick. Growing up in a house full of sisters and now raising a very "girly" girl... well, it comes down to lipstick and lipstick growing up was categorized as one of the vital and very fundamental routines to starting the day. This chapter in my life, there is hardly a day that goes by that I'm not checking tiny pockets for lipstick or any other form of lip application before it reaches the heat of the dryer.
